The Boss property is located in the Goodsprings Mining District located in southern Nevada. Historical production from this district occurred around the turn of the 20th century with the mining of high grade copper and gold mineralization. These high-grade zones of copper (Cu) - gold (Au) – platinum (Pt), - Palladium (Pd) - silver (Ag) mineralization are considered to be the distal expression of porphyry copper-gold mineralization. The current exploration has outlined three distinct styles of mineralization:
- Cu-Au +/- Ag, Pt, Pd, related to a porphyry system, (Boss mine)
- Au-As-Sb related to the Keystone Thrust fault, (Keystone and Chiquita mines) and
- Cu-Zn-Pb-Au-Ag-Mo, related to a diatreme (recently discovered)
